Dam Fine Wine 2022

The vote is in and Tom Myers edged out Sherrie Holzer for the Dam Fine Red Winemaker. Wine Clubbers attending the exclusive Blending Session tasted the wines blindly and were nearly evenly split in their choice. Tom’s blend is Barbera, Malbec, Zinfandel, and Petite sirah. The Malbec provides dark cherry and cinnamon-bread aromas, the Barbera adds structure through acidity in the mid palate, the Petite sirah is the backbone and adds longevity, and the Zinfandel adds a strawberry jam nose with a smooth finish.
